Spring Break!

Excitedly waiting for Zootopia to start!

We NEVER go to the movies, so it was so fun seeing my little crew enjoying this special outing.  Carson really liked the movie, but it scared Dixie and Ruby.

Dixie loved this Angry Birds promotional photo spot so we had to get a picture in it.  None of us even really knows what Angry Birds is all about.
Afterward, we played on the playground by the theater.  Ruby was climbing up all by herself and not even asking me to hold her hand--she's really getting to be a big girl!
Benji got the puzzle-bug and decided to do our puzzle of Logan.  I could see us doing this more and more as a family pastime when our kids get older.
One night the girls put leotards on and danced all evening to the music on our piano.  Those little, impromptu activities are sometimes my favorite to just sit back and watch them.
We got to spend a day at Grammy and Granddad's, which included swimming of course and
playing on Grammy's and Granddad's phones.  How cute is this photo?  Sweet little Ruby was patiently waiting her turn.
Silly girl!
We asked Aunt Kim if we could play with her kiddos and she invited us to go to Kangaroo Zoo with them on their punch pass.  We had a blast!

Catherine, Darren and Ruby coming out of the dragon's mouth.

Ruby is such a little doll.
I hope these two will grow to be best friends--they have so much fun together.

To thank them, we took them to Wendy's for a Frosty.
On Saturday it was General Conference.  In between sessions we went for a nice walk.  The weather was perfect and it was a great end to our Spring Break week.
Dixie "planted" this tree branch and was so proud!
It's always fun to see them getting along.

Well, this was our first Spring Break since Carson is in school now.  It was a very welcome break for all of us and we made the most of our staycation. We had a fun time together and made some fun memories and got to relax.  It was neat ending it with General Conference, too.  There's nothing like a General Conference to rejuvenate our spirits and refresh our minds.  The only downside to spring break was that it was over way too soon!
