Growing and Learning

Carson is at an age when he likes to show off certain things he has learned. Here are a few examples: At meal time when he is finished he will firmly place his hands on the tray to push it away to let us know that he has had his fill. He really likes to play peek-a-boo. We will ask,"Where is Carson?" He responds by covering his eyes with his hands then releasing them with a surprised look. It is a fun activity. Carson knows to point at the lights and the Morrison's dog, Brindle, when we ask him where they are. He is also quite the talker. We aren't certain what language it is, but Carson is saying something. One of his favorite activities is to find the carton of plastic Easter eggs containing M&Ms that his Grammy hides for him in a particular drawer. He knows to open the drawer, take out the carton, open the carton, pick up an egg, open the egg, then enjoy a tasty M&M treat! When we ask him to point at Mommy or Daddy he elects to play peek-a-boo instead. We figure we just aren't as popular as the lights or Brindle.
