Bear Lake in Winter

I love these pics of the kids on the frozen lake with the gorgeous mountains and the dramatic clouds behind. 

Even though it was freezing winter weather, that didn't stop us crazies from getting in our swimsuits and heading to the hot tub!

I caught Ruby watching a cartoon on the bed with her little legs crossed so cute like this!

Then, she threw a fit and crawled into this shelf.  Haha.

When we went to the lake Carson, Dixie, Parker and Claire huddled in the back of our van!

All our excitement and travel wore our little sweetheart right out!

We got home from Disneyland on Wednesday night.  Had a day to recoup (except Benji who had to work on Thursday) and then re-packed and took off for a weekend in Bear Lake with our good friends, the Jensons.  We just took it easy, hanging out in the condo, eating yummy food and treats, watching shows and talking until all hours of the night.  On Saturday we were able to go to the lake and actually walk on it!  I was pretty nervous seeing my kids out on it, and imagining what could happen, but we saw a bunch of people out in the middle ice fishing, so we figured it must still be pretty frozen solid.  And, it was.  We had a blast walking on top of what we normally love to swim and splash in--in July!  Thanks Caleb and Lauren!
