T-BALL!

The day of his first game we warmed up together in the back yard.
I think one of his favorite parts of t-ball were the post-game treats!
I love this shot of Carson looking back at us and Dixie holding her sippy cup.  I can't say the girls watched him the whole time, but they came and supported him--and munched on snacks.
And they had a lot of fun when Granddad and Grammy came, too.

Here is the batting line-up.  Carson is #8.
 Up to bat!
Team huddle.  Go Athletics!

Carson got to play his first team sport this spring!  We signed him up for t-ball and he got to play on the Athletics.  He honestly loved every minute of it.  There were a couple games that got rained out and he was so bummed.  During his very last game they got to play for about 5 minutes and then the skies opened up and rain poured down.  He still talks about how funny it was to see everyone running up out of the rain.  We had such a fun time entering this phase of "extra-curricular" activities.  I can hardly believe we're there already, but we'll embrace it and enjoy the ride.
