Easter 2015

Easter cookies from Great Grammy!
Since Grammy and Granddad were going to be gone on Easter they had us over beforehand for a little informal easter egg hunt.

We had our traditional easter egg hunt at our house on Saturday.  It was fun seeing Ruby joining in the fun this year--she's getting so big!

Benji combed Carson's hair to look more "dapper" and asked Carson to smile for a picture...so cute.

We took Easter pictures the week before Easter since Easter Sunday was General Conference.  Mima sent us a surprise package with some darling dresses and a couple of dress shirts and ties so that's what the kids wore.  Thanks Mima!

Benji took this screen shot to post on Instagram one day.  I love it and thought it would be great to include here to remember why we have Easter!

Easter is such a wonderful time of year.  Spring has sprung and the feeling of new life is so wonderful and refreshing after the winter.  Of course, remembering the sacrifice of our Savior is the best part.  To do that we cut out outlines of all of our hands and each evening before bed we would write down something we did that day or something we saw someone else do that was Christlike.  It was a great activity to focus more on becoming like Him.
