Summertime

The kids love getting to "play" on the violin, especially this little one.  Sometimes they let me play it, too.

Our new kiddie pool is always a hit on hot, summer days.

Oh, sweet Ruby.  We were all outside for a minute talking to a neighbor.  I left Ruby on her tummy playing with some toys.  (she couldn't crawl yet)  When we came back she had decided to just take a nap right then and there.
Dressing up is always a popular game at our house.  This was an extra funny one of "Dr. Carson".
We've visited the local splash park a couple of times.  They're a little funny about getting wet though, which is pretty hard to avoid at a splash park.

Looking at snails never gets old for this guy.

Carson ditched the innertube and donned a life vest.  He couldn't get enough of his newfound freedom and was zipping and zooming around the pool.  He was jumping in and going under and just absolutely loving "swimming" without anyone holding him.
Benji found this gorgeous waterfall near our house on a hike with the young men in our ward.

 We've grown some gorgeous roses.

We had some fun with mustaches--they're quite popular around here.

And we got to try out this cool plane at our neighbors'.  Dixie looks angelic in this one.

Summer's been great to us!
