Our Dear Gammee

These are some cute pics with Gammee when Carson was a baby.  Gammee is a very special lady and we're blessed to be in her family.

We were ecstatic to meet baby Benjamin!  He wasn't supposed to come until Christmas, but he must have known we were in town. ;)  He is the first baby of our dear friends Paul and Colleen and Benjamin is named after Benji!

His cousins were so wonderful in playing with him.  Evan even sent us home with some of his toys!

Dixie spent our first night climbing in and out of this dog cage. haha

She loved seeing all the dogs in the family and even learned to say "doggie" while we were there.

Of course, Carson felt right at home in nature.

On our last day we went to Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro with aunt Katie, cousins Lauren and Alaina and Mima.

Benji's Gammee passed away on December 8th, 2012.   His boss was very accommodating to let us go down on such short notice, but he did have to cover a case in Green Bay, WI during the trip which stunk.  Even though it was sad to go for a funeral, it was wonderful to get to see the family for a whole week.  We miss everyone so much!  

We had an amazing time seeing new houses, playing with cousins, and eating TONS of good food!
