Dixie at 10 Months

 She's a crawler!
 She's a charmer!
(sorry Carson is so fuzzy.  He won't sit still!) Here they are trying out the miniature laz-e-boy while shopping for couches.
She loves pulling up on stuff.  Here she was playing a game with me where she would crouch down and then pop up fast.
Sweet Daddy-Daughter pic!  Whenever I see them together I think they look soooooooooo much alike.  Everyone says she looks like me, but I totally see more of the Kings in her.
 Matching outfits!  Thanks Aunt Katie...

I would spend all day picking up after her if I tried to keep up with the messes she creates with her new found freedom of crawling around.
The kids are so lucky to get to spend so much time with Great Grammy.  They always love her attention and her dancing flowers (pictured here).
There's nothing too much cuter than a chubby baby body--especially this one!
Here's our attempt at some 10 month photos.  No matter how bad the photographer (me) is, they turn out so cute because of the adorable subject (Dixie).

This is my personal favorite--what a perfect pose. :)

Dixie is such a sweetheart and her fun personality is starting to show more and more.
Our goal for last month was to learn to sleep through the night and I'm proud and happy to report we did just that.  It's not perfect, but much improved anyway.  She went from waking up every two hours starting at midnight and now she goes to sleep at 8:00 PM and usually sleeps until about 5:30AM.  Then she goes back down after I feed her until about 8:00 AM.  The past week she's been waking up around midnight again.  But then she'll go until 5:30 AM still so it's not too bad.
She typically takes two naps that last one to two hours or so during the day.
She continues to eat what we are eating and likes most everything.  She prefers her veggies mixed in rather than separate though.  She loves yogurt and usually eats that for breakfasts and snacks.  She is good at using her sippy cup and using it can keep her occupied for little bits at a time if need be.
She continues to light up our lives around these parts and we simply couldn't do without her.
Love you girlie!!
